About the opportunity
The site supplies tier-one automotive and industrial customers and is expanding capacity over the next two years.
Responsibilities
- Own production, quality, maintenance, safety and cost for the site
- Drive productivity and OEE improvement against agreed targets
- Lead a workforce of several hundred across staff and contract employees
- Maintain compliance with statutory, safety and customer audit requirements
- Represent the site with key automotive and industrial customers
Requirements
- Engineering degree with fifteen or more years in discrete manufacturing
- At least five years in a site leadership or works manager role
- Demonstrated results in lean, OEE or cost-reduction programmes
- Credibility with a unionised or long-tenured workforce
